Hi,
I have a dvd of led zepplin which has a DTS audio stream... i ripped all the tracks and i now have them as DTS files. Now i want to convert these DTS files into 5.1 waves @ 48000khz cause i want to burn it later to a dvd (audio only). I have purchased Surcode DTS encoder for this matter and I need to direct 6 mono wav files to it in order to create the dts wav file. My question is... how do i convert the dts file i have now to 6 mono wav files (one for each channal ofcourse), without downsampling the bitrate from 768 to 448 on the way.

Thank you.

if you search f.e. for dts decode (http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=1002315&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending) you will find plenty of threads which will answer almost everything about dts! ;)

donīt know what you mean: if want to do a DVD-Audio you can use the 6 mono WAVs as they are.

I have purchased Surcode DTS encoder for this matter and I need to direct 6 mono wav files to it in order to create the dts wav file.
why again? you got one, you will never reach the same good result again! Spending about $ 2000 bugs for sucode dts is a wast of money without any progress in this case!

again, converting in what, did you purchase an AC3 encoder too or what kind of transcoding do you have in mind???

please make (more) clear questions and experess clearly what you want to reach so that stupid me (may others too) can catch the point of your requests! ;)

I did a search and didnt find anything specific, but i gathered some info...

I understand i can convert the DTS files to 6 mono wav files using azidts. This way I will keep the 768 bitrate at 48000 khz intact. Once that is done i can create a dts wav file using surrcode DVD. The problem is that I tried doing the azidts part but i think im doing something wrong as it doesnt seem to work. can someone plz break that part of the process to little baby steps? :-)

thanks.

we seem to have a trust problem :( . I read all these threads already, i told u that i used the search. anyways now u totally confused me... maybe im not even supposed to do what im doing...
my main goal is this:
I have 2 dual layer original dvds of led zepplin with a bunch of video content and other audio such as stereo and dd etc. I want to basicly take all the tracks of both dvds in dts only and place them all on one media, it wont fit on a regular cd, so ill make an audio dvd, at least thats what i figured. what would be the best solution to achieve this in ur opinion?

audio dvd sure?

or do you mean a DVD-Video -> dummy video stream with f.e. DTS sound stream?

what video stream would you prefer, the original or a blank one?

first you have to demux your video content dts chapter by chapter or in the size your future asset should be -> this leads you to single dts files for each track or asset (decoding/encoding isnīt necessary then) (look here: (http://www.ifoedit.com/) ifoedit/vobedit)
for reaching the DVD-Video standart you also need a video stream,
how to create a dummy MV2 could be found here! (http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/193049.php)
Next is the authoring of the DVD.
If you want to create a simple DVD you can use the functions of ifoedit (build a dvd) or switch to dvdlabpro or good old dvdmaestro because those programs are able to work with dts sound.
The finer points of authoring could be found in the video section of doom9.
