error occurs in the prepare stage
im using rb v.0.66
cce 2.5
i got the EclCCE.exe pointed correctly
tried a reinstall of both cce and rb
tried re-ripping with decrypter 4 times (included detect matsering errors both on and off)
the dvd is Pirates.Of.The.Carribbean.The Curse Of.The.Black.Pearl.CE
any sugestions?
TIA

i also noticed i get this error when using decrypter

W 11:31:37 'Pack Header Not Found' logging has been halted for now.

and i seen someone has said that doing a fake strip in ifoedit may help. if so how do i do that in ifoedit?

could this possibly be caused by a scrathed dvd?

Have you backed up other DVDs successfully, using DVD Rebuilder? (Just to verify your setup is right.)

Are you able to watch your decripted dvd from the HD?

Have you decripted to a folder (Files mode) or to an ISO image?

Hi woldise :)

few hints from my side too, in the given order...

1. Are you using last available release of Decrypter ?
2. Hopefully you aren't doing any pre-processing to the movie, before the DVD-RB session, right ?
3. This one may seem a really stupid suggestion (and maybe it is...), ...anyway, why are you asking if the error may be caused by damaged DVDs ? Did you actually check your DVD is not dirty or scratched ?
4. Give a try to VobBlanker by Jsoto, just process the whole title, without stripping anything...

Cheers,
SD

I am experiencing the same error. I am using version 0.67. I tried the special error processing but no change. Can someone please help me to determine what causes it by either telling me how to log where RB is failing.

Thanks

I've had this problem one several episodic disks and in most cases just re-ripping the disk resolved the problem.

@woldise

Go to http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-menustripping.htm for infoedit guide. To do the fake strip don't check any of the audio or languages.
