View Full Version : Incorrect Bitrate Calculation by ERMP

I have been trying to encode 2 vcd files of 790MB each to 1 RMVB file of 700MB size. But the bitrate calculator within ERMP is not giving the correct values. Besides, in ERMP, the calculator give the same video bitrate even when the audio bitrate is changed (say 64kbps or 128 kbps, video bitrate is the same). To maintain the correct filesize, the calculator must check both audio and video bitrates and then provide an output based on both.

Therefore, is there an application for RMVB which provides the exact bitrate on input of filesize and length?

producer.exe (used to encode in realvideo) need the final bitrate (video + audio) once it will start the encode, the video bitrate will be calculated after it have remove the audio kbps.
so i think the ERMP bitrate calculator is correct. if u have still some doubt try to encode a sample and check if the final size is correct :)

Good luck.
Bye.
