I'm looking for a solution to rebuild a complete DVD project (for scenarist probably). ScenAid was close to what I wanted.

I want this because Scenarist creates projects that will work on all DVD players and everything can be made with it. Also I have had some other tools that just were not compatible with the DVD player I have here.

For the project I needed to make some changes to the subtitles, such as adding a few and altering the menu to include the subtitles. Doing this without a menu is very easy, but this time I want to get the menu's working.

Are there any good ways on doing this?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Well basically the tools to do this are available. You'll need numenu4u to rebuild the menu for you and doifast4u/scenaid to do the movie + extras. There's only one downside you can't do it in one step.

So I would do the menu first and make the desired changes and after that use scenaid to rebuild the rest of the title.

Or yoyu could try to combine the numenu and scenaid scripts but I don't know if that will work.

When I take the project created by NuMenu (which is the most complex one with all the navigation stuff) and I replace the dummy movies for the real ones it should all work?

Any obvious pitfalls known?

you will have to make changes to the VTS names. I name differently to scenaid. Also don't forget that none of the PGC commands are recreated by scenaid.
