Hello,

I have shrek2 pal DVD, and i want to add subtitles to the dvd, so i demuxed the movie, and tried to mux it back using maestro, when i try to import the movie file (m2v) maestro checks the file, when it finishes i see the duration of the movie is less than a third of the movie play time.
I have tried another method i have demuxed (using vstrip) the movie by vod-id, ( i got 3 m2v files) and i have imported the first one to maestro, and chose append on the first file and "added" the second m2v file, i got a "super-movie" (this is what is written in the "type" column), this way the duration displayed in maestro is right, but the timecode offset is set to 01:00:00,10 and maestro says: "timecode offset for track with multiple assets is fixed by first asset". is there a way to reset the timeocde offset to "0", to the asset directly?
another question is there a way to change the vob id so it can be added to maestro as one m2v file?

thanks,
Cyb

Not sure this is your case, but it sounds like the movie has an incorrect GOP timecode. This can be fixed for example with womble mpeg-vcr or mpeg wizard, or if you own dvd-lab pro, with its rewrite Gop timecode feature. Not 100% sure but restream may do as well.

I realize this is a late reply! Sorry!

Try Vob-Id Demux by DVDDecrypter. In the Tools.....Settings tag of DVDDec IFO Mode, check "Patch m2v timecode to 00:00:00:00"

Also set File Splitting to "By Vob-Id"

Now demux in the vobs you want. The timecode will be 00:00:00:00.

In Maestro, just add all the M@V's on one timeline. The process is called Contacinayion in Maestro. When you have all the video assets in place, create a single audio file by "Create Sync Audio"
On the video timeline, right click and select "Export M2V File"
You will have both A and V of the desired length.

Just run the m2v file through ReStream, make sure to check "Remove Seq End Codes"
