I have authored three DVD's using NeroExpress and the first two have worked out beautifully. The third has an annoying problem that I can't figure out. When the DVD loads on my set-top player the main menu opens up. If I use the arrow keys to highlight the first movie on my menu then press "enter" or "play" the cursor jumps to the second movie and then automatically starts playing that movie.
No matter what I do I can't select movie #1 using the arrow keys. However, if I press the "1" on the numeric keypad of the remote for my DVD player, then the correct movie starts playing.
I have definitely tracked this back to a NeroExpress problem. I opened up the project and navigated to the preview screen and it is happening there! I even recreated the whole project and it is still happening.
The only (and very lame) excuse I can come up with is that I now open NeroExpress directly from the "Programs" menu in Windows, rather than going through Smartstart. Could that actually be the problem?
Has anyone encountered this problem? Any thoughts? Should I just reinstall Nero?
