First, I'm a newbie (what great way to begin a post ;) ).
I have problems with converting some avis to real media. I'm using Easy RealMedia Producer 1.81 but I tried realmedia's realproducer 10 and it was the same...
The problem is:

The avi plays without problems (bsplayer) but after conversion the stuff appears (I tried re-encoding it into a different codec with vdub but the problem remained). I was told that this was a frame lag and has sth to do with b-frames (the prog doesn't process them or sth)... Which doesn't really help me a lot cuz I'm new to encoding. So... Do you know what the problem is exactly and how can I fix it? Any settings with the rm converter?
You are pretty much my last hope ^_^
And sorry for the lame question.

I don't know about Easy RealMedia Producer. Seems an "illegal motion estimation" to me :)

there was a bug that could create artifacts like that in an intermediate release of the latest RV10 update, but it is strange when you say it occurs in Producer 10, unless you updated the encoder DLL.

No matter which GUI or tool you use, just make sure you have the latest erv4.dll from https://helixcommunity.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=50 (remember to login first). The latest release is erv4_20041108.zip. Thanks.
