Can anyone provide me with any software that can allow me to extract luminance and chrominance signal in a MPEG-2 stream?

I have a software decoder that dumps YCbCr values to a file (one file per picture). Is
that what you are looking for?

the AVISynth-commands
UtoY() and VtoY()
will allow exactly this.
So IMO no need for an additional program.

I do not know how to use the source code to extract the Y Cr Cb signal. I need a software that can help me do that.. I am a programming nerdy..wahaha.. please forgive me...

I forgot to mention that this decoder have to decode into Y Cr Cb signal for MPEG-4 video. Those i found are mostly for MPEG-2. I think we cannot use MPEG-2 Y,U,V decoder to decode our MPEG-4 video into Y,U,V right?
