I don't know why DVX isn't included at all on this whole site (or for what I've seen). If I'm wrong, it's definitally not noticeable. I think you should give DVX some credit and promote it here =/. I just recently started using it, and for the most part it's better than AGK and GK. Not nearly as popular though.

since you have been registered since july you should know how to use the search. try it and you will see stax(ex-dolemite) usually posts updates in the general section.

there are other programs that are very popular that also dont have permanant spots here aswell, you dont see the programmers complaining do you ?

Guess Dr. XviD (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85403) would be much easier to find... :D

First off, yes Domelite POSTS here but that has nothing to do with what I was suggesting. I never said he was complaining nor I was... No need to get cocky. I just think it's a good tool that deserves a spot on this site... That's all. And for the "many other popular programs that don't have permanent spots", I can think of about... 2 (besides pay ones).

drop the attitude and people may listen to you and thought out reasons.

and i can think of a dozen or more. it means nothing.

-->>>> Was pointing at YOUR attitude. I haven't shown "attitude" this whole thread.
All I was suggesting is that the prog. got some credit, because it is a nice piece of software that I figured would be on this site.

umm... no attitude?

i think Stax is able to ask on his own, if he thinks it's a problem that there's no DVX (or xvid producer, or what's it called now?) specific forum. however, looking around the forums, there's no obvious place that apps like DVX can be discussed. perhaps the 1-click section could be expanded beyond DVD-9-to-5 type apps? hmm. that's one for Doom9, i think

perhaps the GK forum could be expanded to include similar programs? i don't know. it's probably alright as it is.

btw, Dragongodz is a developer himself, so he knows what he's talking about. matter-of-factness (man, we need a better word for that) doesn't amount to cockiness, at least in my experience.

I guess I can add a sticky in gen. dis. with the most important applications which don't have a forum on its own?
