1 DVD split in two, putting it back on 1 double sided?

I've searched a bit on the forums about this, read some things on VOBedit and IFOedit. I'm just not sure it's the same situation.

I have a split in two DVD. 1 contains menus and part 1 and the other just part 2. I'd like, since I can now burn a double sided DVD, put them back togheter but remap the original menu so that the second part will be accessible from it. Here are the filenames on both parts of the DVD (in VIDEO_TS) :

Part 1 (with the menu) contains the following files :

I'm a bit bothered by the fact there are VTS_01_0 files on both parts. I tried just dumping the files from part 2 in part 1 with no success. I guess I knew it wouldn't work... Thanks for any help on this! :)

merlin - you will need to change the VOBID on the disk 2 VTS_01's and then remux the VOBs in.

Its not all that difficult - look here (http://www.mpucoder.com/derrow/joinclip.html#joindbl) for an easy guide.

Great to hear! But with what software? VOBedit? I've tried doing what blutach suggested and it didn't work. When reconstructing the IFOs with IFOedit, it said something about bad synchronisation. Thanks for the help!
