Adding Still Image

Hello I am new to this(when I say new, I mean new) and I have a burning question. I was wondering how can one add a still image to a dvd already created. Are there any guides to do this or can someone please help:). Thanks in advance. If this has been covered already, I apologize and please direct me to where I can find the answer.

Do you mean replace an existing object (Video, Menu etc.) with a still image, or add a completely new image?

replacing and adding, if possible. Not the menus yet though. Thanks
