Hi all

I've experemented a lot with dvd and audio encoding but have never tried much on making my own DVD menus.

This is what i want to do.
Create a DVD with some MP3 albums on it.

I Want the first menu screen should see the album cover and title of album. You can then select the album and play that album.

I also want a timeout and to start playing the first album. Anyone?

Also when each track is playing i want something happening in the background eg a movie clip or just a still picture with the Album name and song title on it.

Can any one hel me? Or recomend a good program to start with the menu editing.

Cheers

I've played around with this and I can assure you this is a lot of work. I would start experimenting with dvdlab (pro) if I were you.
This program has a lot of nice features and you can create menus with it without much hassle and some nice effects.

There is a program called Audio DVD Creator which does pretty much what you are looking for. It authors a standard video DVD, but uses only the audio tracks - there is no movie. However, it does bring up a menu with a playlist so you can select what you want to play.

Do not confuse this with DVD Audio - that is quite another thing altogether - this is a video DVD with no movie, that's all.

Go to www.audio-dvd-creator.com and have a look.

Have fun !
