Slideshow in Maestro - Problem

How to create a slideshow in maestro so that the next or previous pic only comes after I press the arrow key on the remote?

The problem is, in maestro, if I create a slideshow of 1 VOBU length, I have to use "NEXT" or "PREVIOUS" buttons on the remote for next/prev pic whereas in Hollywood authored DVDs I see that stills can also be manipulated by using arrow keys on remote.

If I look up the IFO of my authored slide, I see only one pgc of small length whereas if I look up a Hollywood authored DVD, I see that each still lies in its own VobId. If I cannot put chapter points on each pic boundary in maestro because I want to put 200 pics there.(Not more than than 99 chps allowed (DVD Spec limit)).

Can't you just make each slide a still menu??

But I want my pics to bo on a VTS. I have tried an elaborate step.
First I tried to mark each pic with a button highlight marker so I could draw invisible buttons for navigation on each pic. Problem was, since each pic was not on a separate chapter point, the selected BOV will not move to the next pic. Again, I tried with both chapter mark and button highlight. This time the arrow keys work but the video does not stop at end of each VOBU. If I try to loop each chapter, I dont experience the smoothness in navigation as the keypad in my softwareDVD player(POWERDVD) keeps flashing.
This is getting both time-consuming and frustrating.

Well I seem to have done it.:D

First I selected File--Preferences..--General Tab--Slideshow Defaults--Still: Length 1 VOBU. Then I amassed all my assets on timeline (60 pics). Next I assigned each a chapter point. Also in each chapter point's properties, I selected Button Highlight and in Cell Playback Options, Still Time 255 Secs.
Then I created a button highlight subpic for each pic defining 3 buttons. Centre (Large, almost covering the entire video window) marked to root menu, left and right auto-action buttons pointing to next/prev pics in the Subtitle Editor. This I repeated for each pic.
The end result was a hollywood style slideshow.

My only grievance: Cant have more than 99 pic on one timeline.

Any suggestions??
