Updated.
10. dec - Exports chapters(one for each chapter) in smpte(aka. 00:00:01.00) or frames(useful in muxman).

I'm amazed how easy things get with muxman:
1. Make your slideshow in DVDsGUI.
2. Export: m2v+ac3+txt(chapters in frames)
3. Import m2v+ac3+txt(chapters in frames) in muxman and export.
4. Burn it and you'll have a slideshow dvd with chapterpoints for each new slide.

If you want to add more slideshows to a dvd you can use GUI for DVDauthor or DVDauthor GUI to set up your menus (these two use chapters in smpte and both imports the txt file saved in DVDsGUI).

Have fun,
Tin2tin

Now it exports to iso and dvd folders - ready for burn.

Since it's using avisynth - it's pretty easy to add more transitions - so if any of you have any avisynth transition scripts -and you wanna share it to this piece of freeware you can just post em' here.

All transisitions are functions with two videos(from/to) and a transition duration.

Anyway, have fun with it,

Try exchanging the main program with this:

[Edit: check the homepage for the latest version]

The last one looks like a baddie - but it might also be caused by the same as the prev error.

(4:3 - shouldn't give you this error)

A workaround on the MaskTransition vs. 16:9 - error is to use only the top(first) 11 types of transitions. These transitions doesn't use the masktransitions.

[edit: using animation fucks up any other resolution than pal 4:3]

my wish list:
* Drag & Drop Add Images
* Images Fit to Frame/Safezone; Fill Frame/Safezone, Please "read" the German Thread : Transparente Overlays (http://forum.gleitz.info/showthread.php?t=21414)
* Other Encoder, HC – MPEG2 encoder ( a better picture )
* Muxman with Spezial Projekt ( Suggestions come still. )

* Drag & Drop Add Images
Wxbasic doesn't support this function.
* Images Fit to Frame/Safezone; Fill Frame/Safezone, Please "read" the German Thread : Transparente Overlays
Could be useful - but the present functions must be bug free first.
* Other Encoder, HC – MPEG2 encoder ( a better picture )
Under presets it is possible to change the encoder - but it must use the Quenc kind of commandline commands.
* Muxman with Spezial Projekt ( Suggestions come still. )
DVDsGUI can produce a ready to burn dvd iso(authored and with chapterpoints for each new image/avi(but olny up to 99 chapterpoints) - Alternatively you can export m2v, ac3, chapterpoints in frames and import it into Muxman/DVDauthorGUI/GUIforDVDauthor.

Images Fit to Frame/Safezone; Fill Frame/Safezone,
You can actually do this with the animation part of dvdsgui, by zooming in to the size you're after - and apply that size to all selected images.

Updated dvdsgui today.

Got rid of some evil black-frames in 16:9 mode. And now the animation presets respects the aspect ratio.

I tried this product for my images. It worked great. Initially some images were replaced by a black page, but on the second try, I had a m2v file. I then used dvdauthor gui to make my menus. When I tried to save it, it gave me an error. I then tried opening in muxman, and got an error as well. The muxman log says the m2v is an unknown file type. Media player, and powerdvd both play it perfectly. Dgindex says it is a 720x480 29.97fps progressive stream. Same with Mpeg2Schnitt. Why cannot muxman or dvdauthor gui not understand the video.

DVDAuthorgui wanted an audio stream so I threw in a dummy audio stream but it did not make any difference.

@ nnigam

Under QuEnc select advanced options/Mpeg2 Mux Profile -> no audio for exporting m2v.

Thanks for finding this bug - I'll fix it in the next release.

(Do you know that you can export to an iso file - which is an allready dvdauthored file - ready to burn - with chaperpoints for each new image?)

Concerning the black misrenderings - it is a wxbasic bug I can't get rid off atm. - but there is a workaround - if you use animation - there will be no black images - so if you set a key in the start and end of your image - you'll have a "non-animated" image - and no black images for sure.

Have fun,

Thanks. I see the option, and will try it out. Otherwise, it is working great. I got busy with other tasks, but was going to try the ISO next.

I was wondering if there was a memory leak someplace. I am processing about 300 images in four subfolders. I noticed that as I process each folder, the application seems to start running slower. At the end, I just rebooted my pc to free up resources.

Also, I was unable to rotate images that were taken sideways. Checking the animation box got me to the setting, but gave an error when trying to save the change.

Sorry for this late reply.
I was wondering if there was a memory leak someplace.
I think the new version will fix this minor leak.
Also, I was unable to rotate images that were taken sideways. Checking the animation box got me to the setting, but gave an error when trying to save the change.
This save error - was it under the animation tool or the main part?

Tin3tin

nnigam
5th April 2005, 15:39
Under the animation tool. I did not see anywhere in the main part to rotate images. I had to select the animation checkbox, that takes me to the tool, I rotate it about 90degrees, and then when I try to save, I get an error. I will download the new version and give it a try but may take a few days. I just fried the motherboard on one pc, and somehow got a very persistent virus on my other pc that disables my cd drive. I may just simply have to do a low leverl format on the drive and start from scratch again.
