Hello,
Sry for this 'long' post, but I want you all to have a clear thought of what I did...
I've tried to make a backup of a 6-episode disc using 'the big 3'-method (with ReAuthorist). Almost everything went fine. However, ripping the subtitles of the first episode wouldn't work at first. After DIFU demuxed everything and ReAuthorist created a scenarist script, I saw there were no subs present in the VTS01-folder.
Afterwards I ripped the missing subs and put them in the right folder (\VTS01\subs). Scenarist didn't complain, and I got all my episodes with subtitles (confirmed in simulation window, colors and transparancies are the same for each VTS, every VTS showed subs).
After compiling the project, I notice however that VTS01 still has no subtitles (greyed out option 'subs' in powerdvd), while the other VTSes are allright.
I know the subs are present in the VOB-file of VTS01 (I demuxed that file and it showed the right nr of subpictures), so the problem resides in original VTS_01_0.IFO (that DIFU places in the VIDEO_TS folder). It claims there are no subtitles present.
Is there any possibilty to alter this setting in the IFO-file so it says I have a substream in VTS01 at 0x20?
(I've been searching for a couple a days now but did not find anything on that matter. If I missed something obvious, my apologies)
Thx,
Steven
