Hi to all

Just a little question about the future version of DVD2SVCD.

Does anyone know if it will support the new version out of CCE "2.70"(2.70.01.04)?

Thanks a lot if anyone has got an idea on this.

I can only guess no-one has the new version of CCE here yet.
I know I don't and to be honest, don't know much about it, hence not replying to this thread before..

If it is drastically different from current versions - ie the current ways of using 2.6x will no longer work, I think "no" is probably a safe answer to your question.

Certainly there are no beta versions in circulation to my knowledge that have any new code for CCE support. So if it doesn't work with the last public build, probably not.

Keep an eye on the "readme" link from the dvd2dvd.org site. I'm sure if the author adds support for this it will appear in there.

The problem is, there are no EclCCE support yet.
When we have EclCCE we will know more.

Thanks a lot for these first replies....
Tries and settings in dvd2svcd could maybe be integrated with the trial version of the 2.70 which is available on download.

Maybe we'll know more a day?....

CCE 2.70 doesn't need EclCCE, it can already use .ecl files directly.
I've been using CCE 2.70 with DVD2SVCD and DVD-ReBuilder from 2.70's release. With just a few mods to DVD-RB and DVD2SVCD, I haven't had any problems.

EDIT - "With just a few mods to DVD-RB and DVD2SVCD"

Hi,

Fishman, is it possible for you to post what the required modifications are to get the DVD2SVCD to work with CCE 2.70?

Thanks

CCE 2.70 Trial can open project files. For me at least. So just change on the encoder tab the CCE path to point on CCE executable.

This does not work for cce 2.70.1.5 sp trial!!!
Is there a possibility to make cce 2.70.1.5 to run???

I can confirm that the CCE SP 2.70.01.05 or even the latest one CCE SP 2.70.02.01 is not working with the DVD2SVCD at this moment. :(

only RB is also busy at the moment :)

Is it possible to use EclStart 0.4 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=90100) instead of EclCCE, so DVD2SVCD can use the latest CCE-SP (270.02.00)?
