I’ve only ever used IFOEDIT once before to change the aspect ratio of TV recording to 16:9/letterboxed, a few months ago and it worked fine.
I’m trying a similar thing but the finished DVD (+RW) won’t play on any of my standalone players but will play in my DVD ROM drive.
There is only one title and two menus.
There are two IFO files, so I open and change both.
I change each title set to 16:9 (I want to leave the menu in 4:3 so leave this line alone) and tick the middle letterbox (auto) option.
The resolution is inaccurately shown as 352x576, even though I know it’s 704x576.
I’ve tried changing it and leaving it as it is but it still doesn’t play.
After exiting this dialog box, it always reverts back to the original settings
I then have to click on Save and overwrite existing file.
The finished DVD plays fine on the PC but just won’t play at all on any of my standalone players!
I’ve tried v0.95 & 0.96 on Win XP and both give the same result!
Where am I going wrong?
