Hello everyone, I'm currently backing up the Star Wars episodes 4,5 and 6 (R2). Episodes 4 and 6 have among all the subtitles streams specific ones for the alien languages.

I've decided to keep the english and french normal and forced subs and author without the menus.

I've extracted them with Vobsub and put each one into a separate directory.

I do my authoring just as usual putting the subs in this order

1/ english (wide/letterbox) normal ones
2/ french (wide/letterbox) normal ones
3/ english (wide/letterbox) alien ones
4/ french (wide/letterbox) alien ones

I try within Scenarist, everything is just fine I see my four sub streams then I compile my project and when I play it, I only see 2 streams: the normal ones. I've also tried to set them as "forced" but it doesn't help. Any idea?

PS: just to make sure I tried with DVD Maestro and it works fine when compiled with that prog.

Open Scenario Editor and select your title folder. At Property Browser you will see the "Subpicture Avaibility Flag Policy" you have to set these option to "Custom". Now you can select each stream for this title.

Select your title-PGC now and you will see a folder named "Subpicture Attribute", double click on these. Here you can now specify the attributes for each stream.

To edit the subpicture language code extension select your VTS folder and under "Subpicture Language Code Extension" you choose an extension for each streams (normal caption, forced caption, ...).
