Convert Pal to NTSC

:D I received a DVD from my aunt in England and I guess she didn't know there were different formats. How do I convert this Pal dvd to NTSC? I did a search for "pal to ntsc" but came up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

hi blkskull and welcome to the forum!

format conversion is not for the faint hearted. to do so correctly takes a lot of knowledge, software and patience (personally i lack 1 and 3 of these requirements :D )

anyway, if you amend your search criteria to 'NTSC PAL conversion' you will receive a LOT of results (596 to be exact):

this should give you a place to start your adventure from!

to be honest though i would highly recommend a 'movie only' conversion as this process is somewhat automated in DVD2SVCD.

NB: afaik dvd2svcd only automates the inverse process, i.e. NTSC->PAL

Thanks for all your hekp people, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. Maybe I'll become an expert, I do have a lot of patience, sometimes :) LOL.
