Just check my hotmail and saw this.
this is how it should be, they should be provide this space ages ago... 2MB?, who else use 2MB mailbox today? i use it because of Messenger.

they've started upgrading months ago ;) Though I had a hotmail account even before MS bought it, and my account has still not been upgraded :(

I'm just waiting for the day google activates pop/smpt for gmail :)

Yeah I use hotmail as a spam dump. So the 2Mb is fine on account of the otherwise poor quality service they provide in todays webmail environment. And I have the MSN Messenger login set up on jabber. But I don't talk to anyone on MSN. :p Between my 1Gb Gmail account, my 22Gb Fusemail account, and my personal IMAP server with 30-40Gb storage. Hotmail is not verry useful otherwise. Heck even 250Mb is to little to late.

Nope. Actually I hardly use email. Mostly IM these days. I have a huge fusemail account because I know someone and help him test the site and have even moderated on the forums and customer tickets. The same person also gave me a gmail invite. The 30-40Gb is an estimate of the free disk space on my server avalible to the system. I think the fullest account has about 55Mb gathered over a year or so. So I am not even using 1% of my total email storrage capacity. :p and likely never will. ;)

hehe Yahoo also upgraded to 100MB, its more then enough for me and i really hate hotmail's interface.

I saw someone elses get upgraded before mine, but now all of mine are upgraded to 250MB, and the 'paying' account is at 2GB.

I'm also still at 2mb. There's stories floating around that it depends on your set location when you get the upgrade. Those in the US get it first, then the UK, other major EU countries, etc. I really should start using gmail's pop service now though.. hotmail has been my spambuster for ages and the 250mb isn't going to change anything.

Yes, you have change your profile to a US address, for example:
1. change your country to US
2. Select Florida
3. Enter 33332 as post code

This should do. :)
