Hi everybody!

I have small problem again :(.
I'm trying to transcode 6ch AC3 to 6ch LC-AAC via Foobar2000 (thx Hans-Jürgen and KpeX for right direction). But encoding proces freezes everytimes at timestamp 18m,59s. AC3 is 384kbps.

I try convert AC3 to 6ch WAVe and encode this wave, but with same result. When I encode this WAVe with faac.exe, all ok. So question is, where is the problem, or if anybody have same problem? THX.

Exact settings:
FAAC for Foobar2000: Profile:LC, Q:85, Bandwidth:14000, M/S: on,TNS: on.
FAAC.exe: faac -q 85 -c 14200 "6ch.wav"

I use Foobar2000 v0.8.3 and try two versions foo_faac 1.23.5 and 1.24. In every cases same problem.

And did you run your PC at the correct speed or in overclocked mode?

You could also use faac.exe within foobar2000 through its CLI codec, maybe that would work without problems, too. Another chance might be to disable either the TNS or M/S option in foo_faac.dll, because this method seemed to help with some rare errors on the Linux platform.

Hm, I try runs on OC mode, but then on normal mode, evrytimes same. But I have one vision....
I have problem with muxin' AAC via Avimux too, when I open any AAC in it, system goes to blue screen (Win XP). I try reinstal all drivers, quit all running programs etc, but every times same.

So I think, that problem is somwehere in my system, I need reinstal it.
Strange thing is, that FAAC freezes everytime in same timestamp 18:59...
Thx for post, Hans.
