Hi, I'm trying to rip some DVDs to hard drive so that I don't have to keep switching the region code. So far I've tried DVDBackup, Mac the Ripper (programs for Mac) and finally DVDDecryptor on a PC, but whatever I do, the software DVD Player on my Mac (G5) always complains that it could not detect a valid media file. Opening the file on the original DVD in exactly the same way works fine, and decrypting seems to work, too.
Am I missing something here? If the files are properly decrypted, how can the software not accept them? I know this is a PC forum, but maybe somebody knows a possible cause for this behavior anyway.
