Hi,
I'm searching informations about this problem :
A friend will give me a HD-DVD encoded in WMV format (i suppose its the wmv9 version).
How can I encode the movie into HiRes DivX format ?
It's right I make only supposition, because I don't have yet the dvd.
DVDDecrypter will ripp the dvd to the HD.
But, The wmv video will be protected by a DRM.
if I get the certificate to read the video, how can I frameserve the video to the divx encoder?
I suppose the standard method :
dgindex (a dvd2avi clone) -> avs -> divx encoder will not work.
I've read many solutions wich consists on :
- record what's displayed on the screen
- use a program like asfrecorder to save the stream into a non compressed avi
if someone has a working solution.
