Hi there,

I was wondering if the following is possible,

I have a Jap horror film (xvid avi) and it comes with a separate .srt subtitle file, I want to convert the film to a DVD but I want to include the sub's. Is there a way to do this with DIKO or is there a way to merge the avi and sub's then convert using DIKO?

Any help would be great.

Cheers

yup D.I.K.O can do this
that is you need to setup diko whit the xvid/srt subs

it can fail in the proccess though like the audio..be sure to install OGG's directshowfilter.

its a really great tool for this stuff, other way is whit maestro,sub2stl for authorhing dvd ;)

diko authors the dvd for you so no need to convert srt's, diko uses subtitleworkshop for the subs.

so let it rumble till finish if all setup right/all software installed you end up whit an authored dvd aka VIDEO_TS;)

no need for dvdlab pro if using diko for xvid>dvd
expiriment a bit you can't go wrong
