Hi

I got this movie “Nine lives” aka “ Unstoppable” which is giving me a hard time. Whatever I try DVD2AVI can not make a project out of it.
It hangs, just over halfway.

I tried to make separate projects out of the VOBs and all went well except for VOB 3 (five in total)

So I took VOB 3 into VirtualDubmod and, before the file was rendered, it gave me this warning.

“Anachronistic or discontinuous timestamp found in video stream 0 at byte position 952825874”

(there were 5 of these warnings, all at different byte positions)

I scrolled through the VOB but I couldn’t find anything wrong with it

Is there a way to fix this?

Thx in advance

Perhaps there was a problem with your rip. I assume you used IFO mode, right? If not, try it again in IFO mode.

If you did use IFO mode, you might want to try a re-rip anyway, just in case there was a problem during the rip process.

Hi jggimi :)

Thx for the responce.
I just hurried over here to stop people from responding to this post but I came too late.

My friend Manono just mailed the solution to me.

So,...I put the damned DVD in the dishwasher,… let it spin for a while in the clothes dryer and … out came a brand new DVD with no errors.
(Joke:) )

I feel so stupid, but the DVD played flawless from my external player and DVDDecrypter didn't complain either.

Kind Regards,
Mahi
