Thanks to both DK and Rockas for their flawless work with skins. And also to the man himself Jdobbs. Rebuilder is lookin and feelin more and more like a commercial program every day. Soon it will be out of beta and working flawlessly and we will all be sitting around on this forum not knowing what to do with ourselves.

These skins are great! Especially like the Aqua and Dot Noise. Had to take the height down to fit my screen a little better but everything stayed in proportion. Thanks for the hard work guys!!! Really professional looking skins and a real addition to DVD-RB

thank you :)
for the dotnoise fans among you:
this is another main-skin with slight changes to the original dotnoise look (it was the first step to the aqua look)
if you weant to give it a try, backup the file UMS_DotNoise.jpg and copy this file to your \DotNoise\ folder

only tonight did i realise that there is a problem using my skins DotNoise + Aqua with any version prior to v 0.67
0.66 did NOT allow replacing some of the elements in the setup-window
you will, therefor, get a distorted/misplaced arrangement of the audio + subtitle preselection box, because my two skins use a different layout to what the original version looked like
so please bear with this misplacement and wait for 0.67 to become a public release because the two skins were created using 0.67 and thus all works fine in 0.67 (and up hopefully :D )

Just a note. That second jpeg you release that was a slightly revamped Dot Noise. I put that in my skins folder and noticed that the button where off placement. A little low and to the right and so was the window right beside the buttons. THe setup window i think.

just to make sure i deal with the very same graphic file, could you send me the file (via mail) in question so i could take another look at it?
DK

@ theseeker
i received your mail and i have checked the attached graphic
it is identical to the version i use and now my problem is: i cant see what might be wrong for you
the placements look fine here:
could you describe me in details, where problems occur on your system?
or best: could you send me a screenshot?

It could be caused by using a larger font size on the windows desktop. The windows get scaled... but not perfectly.
DK

in other words: not much i could do?

Other than maybe a slight tweak in the scale values (sometimes they are a little off, but it doesn't show until they are enlarged). Of course it could be something else...

a few remarks:
Rockas Leather
Description: Aqua skin by Rockas
==>> should be leather
and cce, avisynth editor + readme background graphics are missing/unchanged

For some reason both the Dot Noise and Aqua sking do not minimize CCE while encoding. Tried it with the box checked and again with it unchecked. Using CCE Basic and RB version 67. The standard Windows skin does keep the main CCE window minimized. Is there something I can change to get this to work properly. Great looking skins anyway!! Thanks

your leather skin is pretty cool, rockas. really like the size of the working and output paths. now im able to see the entire path chosen.

@DK
sorry to ask you this... but can you send me all the updates you made to your skins?
Thank you

I use HandyThing v3.12 to center DVD-RB (it will not save its last location) and with v0.67 it does not center anymore with all skins.
Windows Standard = Over to the left a little.
Aqua = over to the right a little.
Dot Noise = over to the right a little.
Steel, Steel 2, & Zebra = center just fine.
Can you make DVD-RB save it last location, or just open up centered when ran?
Thanks
JHMac

@ rockas
i could send you the complete files of course, but...
1.
... you might as well download and exchange the two NEW setup graphics i have linked above and repack them
2.
those problems only occur with v 0.67 but NOT 0.66 because 0.66 does NOT allow replacing of the elements so these backgrounds are not useful with 0.66 anyway
