what is the best one, and the best way to put camcorder holiday files on to the pc ,the n i want to put them to dvd,( been backing up dvds for 5 years now so i know that bit ok)

...but seriously, if we're talking about MiniDV then the Panasonic DVX100A is a very good camcorder, as well as the Canon XL2. However if you don't know too much about cameras and don't want to adjust too many parameters manually you won't be happy with these neither...
