I have a 40 mpg files and I want the same encoding setting e.g.
(video bitrate [Xvid] , Divx Audio 64 kbs , Subtitler filter of VDM)
it's really creepy that I open each file and then press the F7 for saving! fourty time! com'on that's wasting of time ,isn't it?! lol
so I know there is some trick here or there (maybe by AVIsynth!?)
or another software that can take the whole folder!

and by the way what's the best settings to encode MPg , DAT files in to Xvid AVIs?!
too many Qs but Thank you in advnaced
don't tell me to search coz I Did! :D

Maybe you did search, but did you try to click those links to threads which came up as result? (Did you search the forum at all? )

I understand his prob to an extent. I mean every issue that I have is pretty unique. I search on it but usually come up empty handed. :(

Sometimes I find a thread with my same issue but no one answered it yet so I just start participating there.

I've never converted multiple MPEG files to AVI, but anytime I've ever seen multiple conversions mentioned, the term "batch" is usually involved. :)

Refine your search using "batch" and see what you can find. If you're using a specific procedure and get stuck, supply more information and someone will drop in to help, but it's always good to give yourself a "jumpstart".

Read through your posts in this thread. It may not be your intention, but I hear that you can't be bothered to dig through the search returns for an answer.

If you've tried a procedure and failed, detail it here and you'll get help, otherwise, let it go. No one is going to help someone that sits on the sidelines and won't get involved.

Tell us how you're not getting this done, and if someone else doesn't drop in to get you lined out, I'll dig up the answer myself, if I have to. Right now, I don't have a link to give you, because like I said, I've never done this.

Don't bump this thread again without positive input, to do so would be an example of extremely poor manners; instead, roll up your sleeves and go to work...others will come to help if you tell us what's wrong.
