Hello!, i just got a backup made movie from a friend
and the video has lots of constant video stutter, it isnt that bad but you can actually see the stutter from start to end.

So what i think is this dvd was made with an older version of dvdrebuilder.

My question is this..
1. If i take this backup dvd-r that has stutter on the video, and I run again the dvdrebuilder but this time i could use 0.64 from the backup, would the video get fixed after the procces?

2. I dont have the original dvd, how can i fix this stutter problem.?

I have tried lots of dvd media, same problem on 2 dvdplayers,
but on the pc powerdvd and windvd there is no stutter.
thanks.

Hi,

1. What was the version you used for the backup? If it was below 0.60, i believe you can't use dvd-rb (0.60 and up, due to implementation of new code. If you can use the 0.6x versions, use the latest, 0.66a-public release.

2. Some users fixed stutter problems running the rebuild dvd by DVD-Remake.(I never tried this, btw).

Hope it helps.

#1 -- Most stuttering is caused by the disc itself.

#2 -- I don't know all the facts, but your statements sound a lot like pirating. Doom9 is a technology site, not a warez site.
