hi,
I finally managed to get wmvhd 5.1 audio to my receiver via spd/if out. my receiver shows that the signal is DD 5.1.
but it seems like the front channels are just "copied" to the rear speakers and there is almost no sound from the center. the whole sound impression is like a big echo
the file I'm playing with is the T2 720p trailer from wmvhd.com
player is ZP wmv pro.
I suspect it is either the file or my soundcard, as my soundcard has no analog 5.1 (old terratec dmx fire 1024) output and I somewhere read that I have to set 5.1 speakers system in audio properties, but the card just supports 2.0 or 4.0 via analog out.
OS is XP Sp1.
