View Full Version : Buffer overflow

Hi,

I'm (still) trying to rip a multi angle (3 angles) dvd9 with DVDrebuilder 0.65.
I've stripped out 2 unwanted angles with ifoedit, chose my languages, checked all vobid's, edited video_ts.ifo angles value (3 -> 1).
Then DVDRB was able to take my video_ts folder for ripping. It all goes perfect, untill he's going to make the final dvdstructure. When processing vts_05 i get a buffer overflow each time (the angles are in vts_01).
Also after stripping out the angles the video_ts folder doesn't play good. It hangs at my angle point, audio hangs and plays "blabla presents" in all languages (3) over and over.
So my guess is the angle stripping didn't go like it should (dunno why i get that buffer overflow on vts_05).

Anyone familiar with this scenario and maybe a solution for it?

Thx,
Craz

Also after stripping out the angles the video_ts folder doesn't play good. It hangs at my angle point, audio hangs and plays "blabla presents" in all languages (3) over and over.

First:Before claiming it to be a RB problem, verify your striped files work before processing with RB. If they do not work (as it appears in your case, your problem is with your IFOEdit process and you should post in that forum. Just to help: After you select to strip the angles it appear a list of VOBIDs, most of them checked and a couple unchecked: left them so.

Second: If you have 0.65 you do not need to strip the extra angles. Just keep them and process with RB

Third: RB does can have problems with pre-processed input. So, if you prefer to strip the extra angles, just backup with RB (see Second above) and then strip the unwanted angles.

if it plays in all three languages then you obviously didnt strip the angles right!!!

try the raw files with rb

What do you mean with "try the raw files with rb" ?

I think he means try running the unprocessed files you ripped through rebuilder .67 because that supports multiple angles.

So does .65 for that matter.

0.65 supports multi angle?

Yup take a look at the readme for it in the stickie here... .65 and newer versions are multiangle supported.
