dvd-rb 66 error0006

im using rb 66 with quenc {latest}.ripped with decryptor.first time using this program,and two days trying to figureout avisynth + plugins.i got it running and encoded with quenc,then tried rebuild.this came up while rebuilding."error 0006:dvd-rb has found an inconsistency in souce data between the prepare and rebuild phase." please help. p.s. very new at this stuf. thanks.

That means that somehow one of the M2V files is incomplete (the original had more frames than the reencoded file). Usually this is due to a user accidentally stopping one of the QuEnc encodes by an
errant keystroke.

If you know much about the process, you can go into the D2VAVS directory, find that portion, and run it through QuEnc again -- or (easier but more time) just let the program start over again.

Is it explained anywhere how to figure out the appropriate QuEnc settings from the contents of the D2VAVS directory?

(Do you think having an option to log the cmd-line being passed to the encoder would be a good idea?)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH JDOBBS.I WILL RUN IT AGAIN AND SEE IF IT DOSE IT AGAIN. P.S. CAN YOU REMOVE THE EXSTRA'S BEFORE YOU ENCODE WITH QUENC.ALSO IF I WERE TO USE CCE ENCODER.THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP.

hello jdobbs. well i ran rb with quenc again with the same project.the same error {0006) came up,about ten minuts into the encoding.i didnt rip a new project,i used the saved one in rb.should i have cleared it and rerip from original.also the error happends in the menu/exsta,s and the main movie has no errors.??? help please.thanks

I had this last night with my first try ( same combination) so went back to quenc 54 instead and its now working fine , even in batch mode.

hello pauldredge. thanks for the info,i will try quenc 54 with the same setup.have you tried removing the main movie only when using decyptor.if you have,let me know how it worked.thanks again
