Has anyone tried more than 4 hours on a DVD-9? I'm looking to put about 6 hours on. Any insight to DVD compatibility issues with this much content?
thanks,
ian.

It all depends on your video and audio bitrates.
A high bitrate means less time but great quality.
A low bitrate means more time but bad quality.
You could put more then 12 hours on a DVD-9, but most likely it will look horrible due to the low bitrate.
Compatibility is not an issue, but quality is.

Although I would normally reply in full, here, it seems pointless to duplicate something I've posted already, elsewhere, and that others have also made useful contributions to, so here's a link to a recent thread on 2-pop that should prove informative.
