Hi,

I have finally finshed my project thanks to you guys (Cona most of all).
I was asked to add CSS on my DVD so I did the steps below but the mastering plant have flagged up an error and are unable to use my DLTS. They have told me that they are unable to put keys disc keys in but I don't understand as I left them blank. The steps I did are below are they correct?

The error was Invalid source storage mode for CSS encrption.

The 2steps I took to add CSS on my DVD where..

Step 1
Settings - CMI Setting
VMG
Disk Key (I left this blank)
CMP - Compyrighted
CGMS - No copying
APS- Off

Step 2
Changed VMG to VTS#1 and set the following
CMP - Copyrighted
CP_SEC No Protection
CGMS - No copying
APS - Off
Title Key - Blank

I repeated step 2 to all the 7 VTS's.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I have now sent off a new set of DLTS as it is a DVD9 project with only step 1 but I am unsure if this will work, which is the correct way of simply adding CSS to DVDs?

I am using scenarist.
Please help.. did I do it wrong the 1st time and correct in the 2nd time? If I did it the 1st way are the plant correct in saying that they are unable to add keys as I left them blank.

I believe the documentation states:

"If you want the VTS to be encrypted with CSS, set the CP_SEC option to Protection System"

I would assume this needs to be set for each VTS as you have done, but it appears to me that you incorrectly set the CP_SEC field.
