Okay, here's my problem. I have two videos that need to be combined. Lets call them video 1 and video 2. Video 1 is the main video and needs to have the first 517 frames trimmed off. Easy enough right. Trim(517,0)
Video 2 is the beginning that needs to replace the beginning of video 1. Basically, I need to trim off the beginning part of 1 and add 2 before 1. I can't just append the segments in vdub as video 2 needs the filtering I have come up with. I guess it's possible to do with two avs's, but that seems like more work than I should have to do. If anybody understands what I am trying to say, and can help me out, thanks a whole lot.

You don't need two AVS files.seg1 = AVISource("foo.avi").Trim(517, 0)
seg2 = AVISource("bar.avi").Filter()

seg2 ++ seg1

alright, i have another problem of a similar type. I have a video(the second ep of the series), and this time, i need to cut out frames 3955-4109 and then take a second video clip and cut off part of the beginning and place it in where i just took out those frames from the first one. Is thismore suited for a video editing program, I mean, should I even bother doing this in avisynth?
