i use commandline to encode, if i doing something which use 80~100% of cpu for a while in the middle of my encoding, will it affect my output video

yes. stop using applications while you encode, for exemple, if you use winamp while encoding, the audio from winamp will be in your encode! :eek:

encoding video is like burning a CD-R or DVD-R. If you so much as type or move the mouse on the system while it's encoding, the encode could become a coaster. :p

[please take this thread as is....us trying to be funny, and not succeeding all that well. No matter what you do on your system, except causing explorer.exe to crash, or a reboot, your encodes should be fine, if you do other CPU intensive tasks, the encodes will just take longer to complete] :cool:

A cat in a blender could decrease the details from the video stream by 0.54db. :D

A proper PSNR chart would show more like 1.23 - 1.45 dB.
