This is totally crazy,
every other codec under the sun I can get to work in about 15 minutes tops, DTS audio ive sat here for about 2 hours , and its just screwed.

Foobar DTS input, noise
ACFilter RC5 DTS audio, noise
FFDshow DTS audio, noise

now I know my file isn't noise because "VideoLAN" decided it might play some DTS audio perfectly just for a few minutes. The next time I tried, silence. Now noise all accrosss the board, nothing works, nothing.

Seriously what on earth is with this format.

Can anyone help I just want something that will work!!!

frustrated

Hi,

DTS and DTS-WAV playback has been reinstated in VLC 0.8.1 ! :p

http://www.videolan.org/

As you found out - VideoLAN - is the only player which can play dts streams from a wav container.
But on the other hand you cant play them directly from Audio CDs - funny eh :D ?

DTS and DTS-WAV playback has been reinstated in VLC 0.8.1 !
ehy :D

thatīs really good news, I switched back to 0.7.2 but replaying DTSWAV with this version was still very buggy (sound runs sometimes too slower or changes speed!)

Where did you find this information, specially about DTSWAV? there is no hint in their changelog

Thx
