I have some questions regarding the PG Playback Mode and the PGC Still Time.
On the mpucoder's site, the PG playback mode is at offset 0xA2, and the PGC Still Time is at 0xA3. In IfoEdit, it's the opposite. Who's right?
[EDIT:] Tested with my Sony: mpucoder is right, as always. ;)
What is the usage of those parameters?
Does the PGC Still Time act as a Cell's still time, but after the whole PGC has been played?
And how to use the playback mode? I suppose that, in random mode, the program to be played is choosen at random, but what's happens after? The PGC is exitted? Or other programs are played?
And what about the shuffle mode?
Also, what happens when the number of programs in the playback mode parameter is lower than the total number of programs of the PGC?
[EDIT:] I know now that the number of programs is the number of programs to play at random -1: if you use, for example, 3, then 4 programs will be played. It seems legal to use 1 (to play 2 programs) and even, for the shuffle mode, 0, to play 1 program.
If the number of programs to play is greather than the number of programs in the PGC, some programs are played twice, even in shuffle mode.
I don't understand what the player does when all random PGs are played: my Sony jumps directly to the last title of the DVD, without any reason, while my KISS player... hangs! Strange!
The PGC still time seems to work when used on a PGC with only 1 program, but doesn't work when there are several programs. Why?
@mpucoder: Please help! I need thoses infos to complete my Trace function for PgcEdit...
