Hi all,
first of all many congratulations for all the softwares involved in this wonderful guide. Of course, without them the whole dvd backup process would be coumbersome.
I have read many posts in the forum, and a lot of guides around (not only on doom9), all of them based on deciding an average bitrate for extras and menus, and then calculating the average bitrate for the main movie when extras and menus have been re-encoded with the just decided bitrate.
As an addition, I can see in the DIF4U log that after the menu and extras ripping and encoding, the program 'guesses' the feasable average bitrate for the movie and then starts the whole process.
My question is: is there a way to do the opposite? I mean, is there a way to first decide the average bitrate of the main movie and then calculate average bitrate for extras and menu?
Thanx for the attention and any reply,
Gemon
