View Full Version : Dvd2svcd Author Problem Help!

I'm using DVD2SVCD along with all the required encoders including Lame, AC3, DivX, Xvid etc.
I keep getting an DVD Author error. I've tried everything I could think of including reinstalling all the software. Keep in mind that the source material I successfully encoded in the past, before reformatting my hard drive required that all programs be reinstalled.
Can anyone help? Here are the error logs:

Hi The Beaner4U,

This is a problem post and should be in Basic...

Anyway, seeing the free disk space after and before mplex, seems mplex has failed. Look for mplex_log.txt file and post it.
BTW, check if your audio file Encoded_audio_1.mp2 plays well in WMP.

Apparently, I've found a simple solution.
I again reinstalled the programs. But this time instead of using the settings expressed in the DivX to DVD Forum Tutorial, I restored all the program default settings. For now at least, the programs seem to be working.
