Hi to all,
Is there a way to transform LBA(framerate) to physical sectors?
I want to change the layer break position of a DL disc.
I know the lba of the new layer break, but DVDDecrypter wants the last physical sector of the layer break as input.

Hi! :)
Sorry for bumping this old thread - but there is a problem with the PSL files in DVD Decrypter. It seems that it only lists the LBAs of the bad sectors in the export PSL file - but not the actual sectors. These are needed for the PSL file to import in DVD Decrypter.
I have read in this forum ( http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=675387#post675387 ) that PgcEdit should be able to list that. I have tried - but no luck.
Is there any program that can find the sectors for a LBA on a DVD? Insert the LBA and it will give you the sector range.

It is not sufficient to know the LBA of the cell you want to use as the layer break. The cell must begin at the start of an ECC block (i.e., the LBA number must be a multiple of 16.) Furthermore, you must use a valid cell, or one layer will be too large. Without a software to compute the relevant values and patch the IFOs, it's hard to do that by hand.
But PgcEdit 0.6.0 beta (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/beta/PgcEdit_winexe_0.6.0beta13.zip) is able to burn a DL DVD with mkisofs and DVD Decrypter. It has an interactive GUI, with preview, to select a valid cell for the layer break position. It will generate the ISO with the correct offset in layer 0 so that the selected cell will be aligned on the start of an ECC bloc. It will gives you the Layer break's LBA number, and optionally, burn the ISO directly with DVD Decrypter.
See this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=95250) for details.
