What is the best way to make a copy of a dvd? By "best" i mean best quality (picture). I want to be able to copy a "dvd9" to "dvd5" with out noticing a difference. All i know is i have to re-encode the files. This is where i am stuck. Remember I'm going for best quality. PLEASE HELP :D

This kind of question is really a matter of preference based of the user posting.
As already noted, DVDSHrink is one method that works. Another is to look at an application called DVD Rebuilder.. While still in beta stages is has progressed very far.
Another method to look at is the "Big3" method (doitfast4u/batchcce/scenaid forum more info)
Some tend to the the later two are better as they actually re-encode the assets instead of "trans-coding" or compressing/shrinking them. However that said these methods rely on an application called "CCE" (Cinema Craft Encoder)
For other ideas, you can browse the DVDr guides on the main doom9 website which give you thoughts on different methods
