I'm almost sure this post is in no violation of rule #5. Of course being no native speaker I'm not too familiar with the connotations of the word 'blatant'. If it is, please delete it. Otherwise read on:
I've just updated my page with a new version of 'MultiShrink' which is a small freeware tool I wrote to enable DVD Shrink batch processing. So in case you'd like your machine to encode a whole bunch of DVDs in a row over night you might wanna take a look at my page over at http://www.dvdshrink.info/chetwood/.

Chetwood,
i would hardly call this spam ... more like a god-send to those users of DVD Shrink who wish to encode multiple movies without having to sit at their pc for hours on end. :D
:thanks:
cheers

Having used the previous version, it works very well. I recently did three discs in a row without any problems (first two encoded to hard disk and third one burned to a disc).

Thanks guys. In case you do find any bugs or have any questions please post them to the new dedicated MultiShrink thread (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42331) over at the DVD Shrink forums.

I see no violation here in fact you are a god. I've wanted somthing like this ever since I've started using shrink. You did a great job. I've tested it with a 30 second test segment and did six instances of it and it worked flawlessly. I think doom9 should post this as a download on his site......thanks for a great app.

Im curious... how does this work? Because every movie that I do in shrink is a little different as far as what things i want to cut out and what compression to use where and what aec settings... i assume you can set all these settings seperately for each movie before you hit begin? I guess I will have to try this out.

You make all your settings in shrink as you normally do for each instance of shrink. You make sure the backup button is depressed and don't hit "OK" on the backup dialoge box. Then launch the multishrink app, set the few preferences then hit run.
It will do each sesson of shrink right after the other and it works great.
