Hi,

I'm trying to work with a multiangle DVD. I don't care about keeping all angles so I used IFOedit to strip out all angles but one.
Now when I reopen VIDEO_TS.IFO it still says I got 3 angles, so i looked around here on the forum and came across this topic where someone gave an example of what I'm doing and what problem I have with the solution:

Finally, I copied the new directory back over the original. I then checked and saw that VIDEO_TS still said it had 3 angles, so I used IfoEdit to update the Video Manager Title Play Map table in VIDEO_TS.IFO to specify 1 angle. After that, I was able to use Rebuilder to compress it down without any problems.

Now I'm not really an IFOedit Expert. Can someone give more details on this step? How do I update the Video Manager Title Play Map table in VIDEO_TS.IFO exactly, so it wil only say 1 angle in stead of 3?
I've looked into the menu options but couldn't really find something that could do the trick.

Thx,
Craz

Look in VMG_TT_SRPT table (incorrectly spelled VMG_PTT_SRPT).
Find your title, and change the Number of Angles value.

Yeah I've found that (that's why i know it's still 3 angles there), but I can't figure out how to change that value.

This is what i have in my VIDEO_TS.IFO file:

I tried doubleclicking on it but then it says "Item is not editable" :|

Did I do something wrong while removing the two unwanted angles maybe?
I opened VIDEO_TS.IFO, clicked vob menu extras, chose remove angles and selected angle 3 to keep. Then I clicked strip it, got the audio/subs streams dialog checked NL audio (in stead of the ENG audio which was selected) and NL subs.
Clicked strip it again, got the vobid dialog, selected all vobids and clicked strip it once again and then ifoedit did it's thing.

clicked vob menu extras, chose remove angles and selected angle 3 to keep. Sure? Angles are in titles domain, not in menus domain.
You have to open VTS_01_0.IFO, select VOB extras (not menu extras) and select the angle to keep.
After that, the angle has been removed in VTS_01, but there is still an indication in VIDEO_TS.IFO. To delete this, just open VIDEO_TS.IFO and follow exactly what r0lZ said. To change the value --> doubleclick on it.

I tried doubleclicking on it but then it says "Item is not editable"Your illustration is the VMG Overview, which is not editable.

To change the number of angles in the VMG, load VIDEO_TS.IFO, then select the VMG_TT_SRPT table (third line in the upper pane), and look in the lower pane. Double click on the line showing the Number of angles of your stripped title.
That's easy!
