I`ve used Neroreencode to replace a language menu for a still image (custom image of that menu).
I`ve checked the ifo and the vobs, the navpackages and the buttons are still there.
The buttons are just not visible.
Is there a way to make these buttons visible again?

Both MenuEdit and DVD Remake Pro can Export and Import buttons. You must have the registered versions though for importing.

In older versions of Recode, this used to work.
I tested it on several cheapo players, where it worked ok, but after lending some discs to friends with more expensive players, I stopped using it, as their DVD players would not display the picture, only a green pixelated background.

sounds similar to what i just done (with lotsa help)
i exported a bmp image and modded it for only the languages i wanted! then imported it back with the original buttons still working. Although i still have some messing to do with location of the buttons etc.
I think i screwed up some where as when i clicked on english i got german.... this could be due to several things.
1 - i was using vobs i had been messing with trying to get this topic to work. Gonna try with CLEAN vobs
2 - i hadnt read a guide done by 2cool re language positions after stripping out LU's

I know how MSC alex guide works (from doom9.nl).
But if I can get the buttons working with nero reencode it would be a lot simpeler.
Just insert a image with ReEncode (or dvdshrink) and activate the old buttons.
The Old Buttons are still there (Ript the buttons to BMP with Suprip),The navpacks are intact,Buttons are working (If I click at the position of the button in powerdvd, the dvd jumps to the correct position).
I just can`t think of a way of making them visible.
