I'm converting NTSC video to PAL with frame rate change in VDUB, resulting in bit shorter duration.
So I need to process audio, probably with BeSweet. But there is no special info in help (or I couldnt find it) about framerate conversion - does it only speed up sound or even changes pitch to compensate cca 4% speedup too?

Hi there,

Your post looks a bit like mine below.

>Hi there,

>This is a question about avi2svcd coverting

>Since i can't play the NTCS format on my TV i want to convert NTSC >to PAL.

>I've done it before without any problems everything went o.k.

>But now i encounter a problem with the audio on the SVCD...it >sounds like a slow record while in sync with the video part.

>I can't figure out what i am doing wrong, i've done it before

>It could be because i've been playing with the settings in avi2svcd.

>Help would be much appreciated.

I've tried several NTCS files to convert and some of them are ok, the pitch was ajusted to the PAl frame rate.
Both the NTCS frame rates did pass.

Using AVI2SVCD does it all automatically....that is....it did.
I am afraid that i tampered the settings in AVI2SVCD :-(

When i mannualy convert the audio file with Besweet it also gives me a audio file that's sound like a slow record.

In the formums i've read somthing about stratching the files up, but i still don't understand why it used to work for me....
The files that converted earlyer are ok and have a good pitched sound.

So you could try it with AVI2SVCD, it's on the board for dl
