Add buttons to DVD Menu

I've got a DVD menu and i want to add a new button.
When the pointer is on the normal button a red sign appears.
But on the new button (Made with menuedit and also tried with DVDReMake) the sign doesn't appear.
How can i add it?

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

it's because there is no highlight :(

it's normally simpler to use an authoring program and just create you own new menu using the original background image if you are not bothered about fancy button highlights :)

hmm there is no programm to edit the subpictures?

SubRip 1.17 (freeware) can be used to edit subbies.
