Flipper disc - remove intro on side 2

I have been trying to create my flipper DVD (Robin Hood Prince of Thieves R4 PAL) to fit into one dvd-r and am able to join the VOBS using a VobEdit method posted previously the create a new IFO using IfoEdit.

When I join the two sides half way through the film the Universal logo and a few short trailers show before the second half of the movie continues. How would I get rid of this so I can go from the end of side A to the start of the movie on side B?

I would be happy with just the movie but any suggestions of keeping the menu on side 1 would be appreciated although I would blank the buttons to scene selection pages just to save myself the effort.

This sounds like a job for vobblanker. You should open your joined DVD in vobblanker and try to locate the log and the trailers (vobblanker has a preview, which is great to do this kind of stuff). Assuming you don't want to keep the logo and the trailers you could just blank the corresponding PGCs. Playback should then skip them (but still, it won't be seamless).

Another solution is to try to fix it in PgcEdit, which could make the transition faster (you could modify the playback to go straight from the end of part 1 to the beginning of part 2). But that's much more involved.
