Hello, I have a Hi8 sony camcorder with a USB putput, and when I try to capture the video using Ulead Videostudio 8 the pictures come out all blocky. Then I tried the Video out thru my TV-Wonder and the video was slightly better but there was no audio. Anyone know how I can get good video off of this camera? Thanks a lot.

There are severe limitations on using USB for video capture. USB 2.0 can apparently be used at low resolution only. I learned this by searching the forum, and found a discussion of Hi8, Digital8, and Firewire/USB transfer. This is not the only thread I found, but probably the one most directly applicable. The thread starter was about to aquire a Digital8 camera, and the discussion branched into areas of concern to you: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66834

For analog capture, which is where you've had partial success, you'll need to connect your camcorder audio output to your soundcard, and set your soundcard to record via "line-in" or its equivalent, rather than "mic" before you will be able to capture any sound.

For much more information on analog capture, see both the FAQ and the Capture Guide.
