Somehow, several of my discs got burned with the verify option turned off. Is it possible to verify after the fact?

Verifying is just a comparison of the files.

If you have the original images you can mount them and use a file compare app (e.g. CDCheck).

If you don't have the original images then you can't do a verify.

However, if you want to be particular you can save the AC3 audio and then run it through besplit.

If the VOBs are corrupt, the audio should be corrupt. I use this method to verify rips of scratched discs, and it's served me well in a couple of cases :)

The easiest way to veryfy would be with a Plexdrive.
If you have none, create an empty folder on your HD and drag&drop all files from the dvd to it. If it copies without error, you have basically the same certainty that nero would provide.

I use to DVD Decryter to "decrypt" the burnt disk, and if it does it without errors then fine, if not try again and again....It seems that even if you find a good brand, it might be just a good batch. I used to use the Ritek(4x){yellow ones} then they changed( and they were sh@te).

I always just use fc (filecompare) on each of the files, set up a batch and walk away 4GB takes a while to compare byte by byte.
